Terms of Service

Last updated June 2026

Plain-language summary. This page describes how HomeHand actually works today. The final, binding terms of service is being reviewed by counsel and will replace this summary before public launch.

The service

HomeHand is a self-serve tool that turns photos of your belongings into a private, searchable inventory with AI-generated names, descriptions, and estimated values, plus exports for moving and insurance.

Free tier and trial

New accounts get a 14-day full-feature trial. After that, the free tier keeps your first 30 items fully usable. We never lock you out of reading or exporting items you have already catalogued — paid plans raise the limit on how many new items you can store.

Your content is yours

You retain all rights to your photos and inventory. You grant HomeHand only the limited permission needed to store your content and process it through the cataloging engine to provide the service to you.

Acceptable use

Use HomeHand only for your own lawful inventory of property you have the right to catalogue. Do not upload content that is illegal or that you do not have permission to store.

Estimated values are estimates

AI-generated and market-derived values are estimates to help you organize and insure your belongings. They are not appraisals, and HomeHand is not a licensed appraiser, insurer, or financial advisor.

Availability

HomeHand is offered to customers in the United States. The service is provided on an as-is basis as we continue to improve it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state of our incorporation (jurisdiction to be finalized with counsel before launch).
